Flying Nurses International flight nurses are contracted for service on a per diem basis. Flight nurses need to hold an active US license and must reside within two hours of a major international airport. Two years minimum experience in critical care or emergency medicine is a prerequisite for consideration. Flight nurses are required to be actively employed as an R.N. in their specialty area of practice. Bilingual abilities and previous transport experience is desired.
